The Story So Far

In early 2024, we started a small company in a corner of Zhongguancun, Beijing. At first, we just called ourselves an “AI Startup.” Because for the first time, AI had finally leveled the language barrier, and we felt like we could finally do something meaningful on a global scale.

Our team is made up of people who finished university in the U.S. and Europe. Like every Chinese student who has lived abroad, we shared the same nagging thought: “There are so many incredible things designed and made in China—things that actually work—but they never leave. Why hasn’t anyone brought them over?”

To be honest, we didn’t exactly know how to do it yet.

We were lucky enough to raise a seed round. In the process, we spent our days talking to angel investors. In Beijing, these meetings are like a massive, high-speed information exchange.

Because we love to listen, we started collecting “insider insights” that you won’t find on a brochure.

Over the last few years, we’ve seen an explosion of robotics in China—automation for all kinds of repetitive labor. Some designs are incredibly cool and futuristic, while others are very pragmatic and focused.

We met investors who had spent years tracking these companies, sitting in their labs, and experiencing their products until they understood every nuance of how they perform in the real world.

These details usually stay locked in a VC’s private memo. But we realized this information is exactly what a buyer actually needs to make a confident decision.

The “Aha!” moment happened when an old university classmate from abroad reached out. He wanted to buy some commercial equipment from China, but he was facing some practical hurdles.

“Can you just be my Buy-Side Agent?” he asked. “This stuff is a significant investment, it’s heavy, and it’s a long way from home. Between the culture gap and the travel costs, it’s hard for me to know which unit is the right fit for my specific site.”

We helped him, and we realized: this is the job.

China has so many respectable, hardworking startups making world-class products. However, because these “Barista Bots” and automated kiosks are such a new category of equipment, the traditional service models haven’t quite caught up yet.

There is a need for more hands-on coordination—from supervising the delivery to vetting the tech before it ships, and ensuring there is a stable support structure once it arrives.

Think of us as a “Costco for Beverage Equipment.” In this new frontier of automation, there are no giants yet—just a lot of new names. We stand on the buyer’s side of the table. We only offer implementation services for the products we’ve personally vetted and believe in.

We are still growing, and this is our story as of today. If you’re interested in what we’re building, we’d love for you to be part of the next chapter.
